Built in Berkeley

Working beyond borders.

Shepherds supports selected international projects through remote digital delivery, multilingual experiences, market intelligence and regional apparel coordination. Every assignment is scoped around the realities of the client’s market rather than treated as a one-size-fits-all global service.

International capabilities

Three Shepherds services. Different cross-border realities.

Websites can travel almost anywhere. Market intelligence depends on source quality. Apparel depends on production and fulfillment conditions. Shepherds scopes each service accordingly.

How remote projects work

Structured enough to cross time zones.

Discovery & scope

We establish the objective, market, language, location and operational requirements before choosing the delivery path.

Project architecture

Shepherds defines what will be built, what can be sourced or produced, where outside partners are required and what limitations apply.

Digital approvals

Briefs, proofs, reviews and approvals are handled remotely so the project can keep moving without relying on constant live meetings.

Delivery & handoff

The completed website, intelligence package or coordinated apparel project is delivered using the workflow appropriate to that service and region.

International standard

Different locations. Same requirement for clarity.

Shepherds will not present international availability as universal when the underlying market, supplier or platform does not support the work. Projects move forward only after the practical delivery path is understood.

MultilingualEnglish, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Arabic site experiences currently supported.
Remote collaborationStructured communication and approvals built for clients outside the Bay Area.
Project-based evaluationMarket data, supplier availability and integrations are confirmed before commitment.
Local contextRegional realities shape the project rather than being treated as an afterthought.
International Prints

Regional production and fulfillment when it makes sense.

For apparel projects outside the United States, Shepherds will first look for qualified production and fulfillment partners within the client’s region whenever practical. Producing closer to the final destination can reduce cross-border shipping costs, customs complexity and delivery times while keeping the project closer to the people receiving it.

Shepherds remains involved in project planning, garment specifications, artwork preparation, production requirements and supplier coordination. When a regional partner is used, however, the merchandise is produced and fulfilled by that partner rather than manufactured or fulfilled directly through our Berkeley operation.

Production capabilities, available garments, decoration methods, turnaround times and fulfillment options vary by market and supplier. Before production begins, Shepherds confirms the proposed production path, available specifications and relevant limitations with the client.

Market Systems Coverage

Coverage by scope, not by slogan.

International research quality varies dramatically by country, industry and information source. Shepherds evaluates the source environment before promising a dataset or intelligence deliverable. The standard is useful, explainable research, not a large record count with uncertain provenance.

Before an international market project begins, we evaluate:
  • Business registry and directory availability
  • Operating-status verification options
  • Decision-maker and contact accessibility
  • Language and research constraints
  • Geographic and industry coverage
  • Whether the final intelligence can support the client’s actual decision
